"A cancerous tumor has a full compliment of human DNA, and is living human tissue,"
Word gets around. When everyone seems to be abusing disability claims, everyone tends to try to get his while the getting is good. The ratchet never seems to make a correction the other way, until a tipping point is reached. What starts out as understanding and tolerance soon morphs towards legalization, public funding, celebration, and eventually forced grooming.
Another great day today!
Yeah, when I would have homework all nighters I would drink iced coffee, the only coffee I can sorta manage...
It's awfully non-cynical of you to believe that "since God commands it... it must be good."
Especially someone who just learned that Gorsuch attends a pro-homosexual, pro-abortion church.
No, sending my son to be tortured and killed in order to save others would require great sacrifice. Even if I could fully restore him afterwards, watching him suffer would be heart-wrenching.
But "societal and familial" benefits ignores "behavioural and philosophical" benefits.
But it can be objective too Sue. The twelve (and more) were exposed to things which were meant to prove its God. Right? The bible is meant to be indirect evidence because its a relationship you test over time. It is directly tested though by the works. We have prophecy to test. It literally says...believe by the word or by the works, just believe already, mix in that and not the unbelief evidence.
If freedom, personal liberty to choose how you live your life are not the most important values held in society then how do you justify this ?
or was all that you were capable of.....
Off with their heads!
Because YOU the People are a bunch of nobodys and nobody cares about you, they never did. This is a nation of laws, not kumbaya.
1. Should self-identified "rationalists" actually be rational and objective in their attacks on religion and religious history?
I might start one tomorrow. It's so late.
As an outsider looking in on Christianity and religion in general I find the whole issue of hermeneutics interesting. To me if you call yourself a Christian I accept you as a Christian. I don't see a big difference between Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, JW's, Baptist . . .
Then we'll have to agree to dis agree. But at least I gave examples for my perspective and shot down the only example you have.
Again, I could only repeat myself, in regards to the 'knowledge' you might have concerning the other two major philosophies you mentioned.
I've never lived outside of Louisiana, and I don't believe in recipe hoarding. It's really ridiculous, because no two people will ever make the same exact dish, even following the same recipe.
The cows weren't obeying God?
